The energy savings associated with the energy efficiency measures in the MURE database are building on the
PRIMES Reference Scenario 2020 and compared with the FF55-MIX-Scenario (one of the policy scenarios for delivering the European Green Deal).
The Tool allows for each country to:
- identify the contribution of each sector to the savings
- identify the contribution of each measure to the savings
- identify the link of each measure with European Directives
- identify the contribution of measures under the Article 8 (formerly Article 7) Energy Efficiency Directive EED
- identify the contribution of cross-cutting measures
- include measure impacts based on semi-quantitative evaluations in MURE
- include correction factors for measure impacts (such as Implementation Factors, Impact Factors and Interaction Factors)
- select a cut-off year for measures (2019 at present, by default, compatible with the scenario selection)
- include gap filling measures [feature under development]
